Build a comprehensive business plan for the launch of a new product, service, or business idea at the company. Your plan will evaluate current branding strategies, describe the target market and its unique features, assess existing organizational strengths, weaknesses, and core competencies with respect to the new idea, determine pricing strategies, and establish continuous improvement processes that span the life cycle of the product or service being offered. You will also consider how consumer trends and ethical business practices might impact your plan.

For this first milestone you have the rubric guidelines on blackboard in the course information section. Please follow the three sections (2,3 & 6) The focus is on identifying the Mission and Brand and how your product or service is consistent with that mission / Defining your Target Market and explaining why they’ll buy your product and where they’ll buy / and finally what price will they pay ? .. how are competing products priced (or susbtitutes – for instance the internet is a substitute for movies, so don’t think too narrowly about what competes for your customers time or $$ ). How do you justify the cost of your product based on the value that it delivers.
