This paper explores the poems of three Russian poets: Anna AkhmatovaMarina Tsvetaeva and Bella Akhmadulina. Anna Akhmatova is a famous Russian poet. One of the themes that dominate her poems is love. For example, the poem Vecher is exclusively about romance. In this poem, she explores the personal fate of a woman’s love life. In Veecher, life is in some cases characterized by blissful relationships, in others by unhappy romantic relationships. She uses a concise style; she avoids the use of lengthy prose to express feelings. Most of her poems portray intense elements of internal drama in a manner that is emotionally engaging.
