Significant Opportunity for Improvement during the BSN Program and how my Professionalismwill Improve in this Area

As argued by Cherry and Jacob (2016),effective time management is key for attainingsuccess in any college or organization. Personally, I have always tried my best to manage my time correctly, but I know that I still need improvement. In this regard, procrastinationhas been a major weakness for the longest time because I tend to postpone my responsibilities only to find myself working under pressure later on. Accordingly, I intend to improve my professionalism in this area by setting up a timetable where I would mark important dates for classwork and social activities, among other things. Along with this, I will strive to allocatea spacethat is free of distraction where I can focus on my priorities. Going to the library during the day would greatly help with allowing me to complete my class work. I shall also prioritize my coursework by ensuring that I set aside enough time and attend classes regularly. An adequately marked calendar will be a constant reminder of when I haveto go to work andwhen I can enjoy my social life. Followingthese measures will prevent me from getting in stressful situations that can hinder or compromise the balance of my work, school, and personal life.

With regards to instructors, I would like them to support students in the program by providing them with all the necessary resources to facilitate an excellent class performance. The teachers must also be accessible and readily available to students so that learnerscan consult and seek guidance from them whenever they feel the need. It would also be ideal if the professors encourage and motivate learners not to give up in spite of the challenges they face in the course (Stevens et al., 2018). This way, students are likely to record exemplary performances and become a successful career in the field of nursing.
